I am not excited about this upcoming season of the Bachelor. I am not excited to see Brad “I didn’t pick anyone” Womack get a second chance at love on one of my favorite love to hate it but can’t not watch it shows, The Bachelor.

Yeah, sure I was like the rest of the world who thought Brad was a douche when he went through an entire season and in the end didn’t pick Deanna or Jenni, but I really respect him in hindsight, so it’s not about hating him, it’s about “Been there. Watched it!”

Why should a reality show give us a repeat of another season? Was there really a shortage of Bachelors to pick from? I live in NYC, so unlike most woman, I can see how that’s possible, but seriously! I find it hard to believe that there wasn’t some single guy somewhere in the other 49 states willing and able to be the new Bachelor.

Chris Lambton, who didn’t get picked by Ali from last season apparently said “no” to abc’s offer. He would have been good. Where is Reid from 2 seasons past? Hello Phillie hottie! I’d rather even watch the strummin cowboy fame-whore, Wes, try to find love than watch a bachelor I’ve already seen go through this gymnastics course again.

I don’t want to watch the same team I’ve seen run through Amazing Race again. I don’t want to watch a designer from a past season sew through Project Runway again, I don’t want to watch a chef I’ve seen cook his way through Top Chef again.

Brad being the next Bachelor…again…is like waaa waaaa waaaaaaaaa. I’m sorry, thanks for playing, but I might have to skip this season in protest.
