After a tough week on Dancing with The Stars, Chynna Phillips is the fourth contestant to bid the ballroom adieu.
Even though Chynna initially showed much dancing promise, her unfortunate blanking on a few steps this week contributed to her inability to hold on for one more day or one more week as a competitor on Dancing with The Stars.
Was Chynna’s departure with partner, Tony Dovolani, a bit premature? This viewer says yes. After screaming at Len, Carrie Ann and Bruno through my television on Monday nite, as I heard them negatively criticize amazing performances like that of J.R. Martinez yet not utter one critical comment to not so amazing performances like that of Hope Solo, I threw in my DWTS towel.
In other Dancing with The Stars movie magic moments, Rob Kardashian was superman with a K. Nancy Grace was almost graceful. Carson lost his sword but not his ho. Ricki Lake was a bit psycho. Chaz Bono managed down rocky road. And David Arquette cracked his whip much to Bruno’s delight.
I thought it was cool that Dancing with the Stars sort of became the Val Chmerkovskiy show this week. Thanks to Elisabetta getting voted off early, we now can enjoy Val dancing with his real-life dance partner, Dasha, among others.
Julieann Hough returned to dance with brother, Derek. Susan Boyle sang some song I had to mute because it was so depressing. Blake Shelton turned on his country charm. Footloose got its share of plugs. And Cher turned out to cheer on Chaz.(go, Chaz!)
