On The Bachelorette The Men Tell All, Wes was not present and Reid had a prior “engagement”, Chris Harrison tells us (ie. Reid will be coming back to propose to Jillian in the Season Finale so we can’t talk to him yet.)
The show was fairly uneventful. Bottom line, everyone hates Wes. Jillian is happy (but seemingly NOT engaged). David is still a prick. All the guys still hate on Juan. Half the guys sided with Jake’s move to tell Jillian the truth. Man Code is short for “brotherhood of man with no regard for the sisterhood of women you may or may not care about” and Tanner P. has had a lasting effect on Jillian Harris, who has never quite looked at her toes the same since – as she sported some hot high heels and mango mango nail polish.

The most surprising thing to come out of The Men Tell All was the fact that boring man Ed, when drunk as a sailor, seems to have signs of a personality…in the drunken out-takes of Ed Brady he not only demonstrates a goofy side, but I think it may have been the only time I saw a genuine laugh/smile from him. So did all of Ed’s personality end up on the cutting room floor? We’ll never know. But here’s hoping that if Jillian ends up with Ed in the end he can offer more to her than seriously bad fashion sense and boring conversation.
Fart out-takes were new. Keepin it real. Gotta love it.
Pilot Jake got asked by audience member if he was asked to be the next Bachelor, would he. Um, not sure if this is so much foreshadowing as was just filler talk. I would not peg Jake for being asked to be the next Bachelor. Um, survey says…No.
Bringing back Molly and Jason to show off how in love they are and the montage of them and Ty and their romance blossoming was barfalicious. Jason took credit for being the center of the universe of ‘happiness” as his much-criticized decision brought “happy endings” to Molly, Melissa (who since got engaged) and Jillian (who is now boinking several dudes on her road to not finding her one true love). Yes, Jason, you are a god. Kudos!
Next week we will watch the season finale. where Jillian will likely end up choosing Ed. Will it last? probably not. Will it fail? all signs point to yes. Will Jillian and her chosen be distant memories to us all a year from now? most definitely yes. But will we enjoy the show any less? likely not.
During The Men Tell All, Jillian wore a Alice Olivia
black sequined dress.
